Silver – International Serious Play Awards
At Ayogo Health Inc, I collaborated with Genentech to create a game based on immunotherapy. Lymph Node Labyrinth empowers players to fight cancer on their computers or mobile devices.
I worked alongside the Creative Director and the Development team to craft the game’s core fantasy, aligning it with Genentech’s “Everyday Epic” campaign and brand identity. My experience includes designing three science-based games that needed to be both fun and visually appealing. I was responsible for creating user interfaces, game graphics, and sounds.
02. Challenge
The challenge lay in crafting an enjoyable and cool experience centered around diseases and blood organs. My aim was to use flat designs with depth, such as parallax effects with dynamic backgrounds and changing colors.
03. Design
I art-directed this project, designed the backgrounds, styled the mazes, and illustrated numerous assets for the game, including its logo. We concentrated on micro-moments to enhance the enjoyment of the experience. The feature of zooming in and out offers players two distinct perspectives on how the world is portrayed.

For this project, I handled the audio design, utilizing ProTools and Ableton Live to produce the final files. I recorded several instruments; for instance, I incorporated sounds and audio choices from “T Cells Attack,” including a Fender Jazz Bass, and sequenced some ambient drums with a bongos pattern for the game’s main theme. My goal was to evoke a mystic vibe with this music theme, creating a tune that generates intrigue as players navigate the labyrinth. Additionally, I designed the sound effects for the game.
